During slideshow there is no way to add a timer showing either the elapsed time
from beginning of the presentation or the remaining time. Since the length of
the presentations are usuallay limited, this function could be widely used.
Neither impress nor PowerPoint cointains this feature, although.

The timer should placed into the header or footer area and refreshed in every
second. The type of the timer should be also chosed (eg. count down).
