When creating a new CALC document automatically 3 sheets are created. Normally I
use 1. I suggest to add (same as in M$) an option, where the number of new
sheets upon creating a new CALC document can be defined.

IMHO we do not need such a UI setting. If you define an own default template
containing just one sheet, you get the result you want. For userdefined default
templates, please have a look at the Help system of OOo.

Thanks Frank, I did not know that possibility. I would like to withdraw my
request. MSO and OOo have here different philosophies and I prefer the solution
of OOo. Therefore I suggest to set the status to CLOSED or WONTFIX.

I agree with Frank that we do not need it. However, I think it is something many
people will want.
