Description christophe_d 2006-06-08 22:22:44 UTC
Hello guys,

I tried to save a spreadsheet in the XML supported by Microsoft Excel 2003 and
some totals are not calculated well if I reopen the file. (those totals were in
a merged cell).

And I have some formatting problem, the borders are not the same anymore. If
you want I can send you the file.

Cheers,
Christophe

Just save the file in Excell 2003 XML. Close and open. Then compare the
changes.

I can confirm this behavour in 2.0.3
Probably something to do with the merged cells...

Changed the subject:

change target from 2.x to 3.x according to

hmm. now aoo doesn't work with excel xml format files at all. just exits the program upon open or save as excel xml. nothing in eventvwr.exe to indicate a crash.
I hope the newer version does not have these problems.

also now, every time I start Calc it wants to go into recovery mode regardless of whether I saved the file before exiting or not.

that was for aoo 3.4.1 about the excel xml failures.
