Steps to replicate:

1) Start impress.
2) Select "Title, Text" layout to current page.
3) Then add outline with text "1st", and press enter key to next outline. Now
you input text always "Superscript". I think this is a problem.

I was unable to create desired slides in the attached powerpoint document 
being used in Open-Office 2.0.3 and 2.1 build on Windows XP Home Edition and 
Professional Edition (Service Pack 2). I also rebooted into Content OS Release 
4.4, using the Kernel Red 2.6.9-42.03.EL.CSE.smp reproduced the same problem 
in Open-Office 2.0.3 and 2.1 build.
When I tried to make slides without particular formatting on Windows XP Home 
and Professional Editions (Service Pack 2) or on Linux I was able to create 
the slides in the desired format without any problem and any unexpected 
outcomes.

set target from 2.x to 3.x according to
