Description Rainer Bielefeld 2006-07-19 08:19:20 UTC
Wrong Text: "You cannot add OpenOffice.org files natively"
I don't know anything concerning this problem, I believe this text can be deleted.

Missing hint concerning attachments (Some people seem to have difficulties, I
see very many wrong mime types)"
"Please select the correct mime type for you attachment from the MIME type
pulldown pane! For OOo 2.0 documents select the corresponding
"application/vnd.oasis.opendocument. ..."

Erroneous text: "... as most people use 56K connections ... "
Better text "... because there still are people using a 56K connection ..."

done.

thanks, Rainer!

The problem is that this old document shouldn't be referenced at all and could
be removed.
Our bug writing guidelines are at
http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/bug_writing_guidelines.html

Where is the old document linked from?
Comment 3 stx123 2006-07-25 19:11:56 UTC
reassign to louis
Comment 4 lsuarezpotts 2006-07-26 19:05:58 UTC
I was under the same impression, that this doc is obsolete. But it has been referenced from every
download (source.html) page for a long time. I'll change those references. Meanwhile, I've updated the
document but the real problem, as ST states, is that it exists.

accepting.
