It can be solved adding the functionally: Data -> Sort -> Options -> Custom sort order also in: Data -> Data Pilot -> Start -> Options -> Options -> Sort by *** Issue 68056 has been confirmed by votes. *** Hi, this is not a bug and also not an enhancement requeest. The column Month used in the example is nothing else than text and therefore the sort in alphabetical order is exactly what should apply. If you enter 01/01/06 instead of gen and 01/02/06 instead of feb and use the options on the month in the datapilot dialog it will work as you expect. Frank closed invalid I would not consider asking to allow also custom ordering invalid, it's the only plase in which you cannot order by custom list. So please reopen and consider the votes instead of closing as invalid. It's really a big limitation in use. hi Niklas, the enhancement would be to act like Excel. They sort Months automatically according to the months list and allways before other data (jan feb xxx). Frank retarget 2.x -> 3.x Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
