Description pullkick 2006-08-28 08:58:31 UTC
Export filter forces a GPF in Word 2k when opening Word 2K's property editor on
text boxes placed partly outside the page.

Steps to reproduce:
* Create document in Word 2K
* Create text box and place it partly outside the page borders (horizontally)
* Save document
* Open document in OOo 2.0.3
* Save it to another filename in MSO DOC format
* Open document again in Word 2K
* Try to open property editor of text box
* boom

Astonishingly the newly created file can easily be opened in Word 97 without a
problem. Other Word versions were not tested.

I was able to reproduce that WORD2000 crash with
"2.0.X  WIN XP: [680m180(Build9056)]"
"2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]"
"2.0 German version WIN XP: [680m3(Build8968)]"
2.0 "(1.9.m118) English version WIN XP: [680m118(Build8936)]"
"1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)]"

MRU->HBRINKM: open the attached "OriginalFile.doc" and re-save it as WW8 format,
open it with Word2000 or Word 2002 (aka Word XP) and open the properties dialog
for the object -> WW will crash. It looks that the slightly wrong export object
position leads to the crash.
