First of all it would be nice to know what you are actually doing to get this crash. A step by step description or a document to reproduce would be very helpful. The office version is from the original OO website or is it build by the Linux distributor? Thanks. I was using the Impress Wizard to create a new presentation. I think the crash is caused by choosing any effect for the slide transition on the last screen of the Wizard, as the crash does not occur if I do not select a transition effect. The version of OO comes from the Fedora FC6 repository ( I did a 'yum upgrade' last night to get the Gnome 2.16 release for FC6. I hadn't tried to make any kind of Impress presentation before so I can't say if this would occur in any earlier release. Sorry for the crappiness of my defect report. I have no excuse. I work for a testing consultancy, but it must be 10 years or so since I last filed a defect report! It's a skill that you lose if you're not doing it regularly. The funny thing is I was wanting to use Impress for a presentation at a testing conference! Despite the Windows monoculture in the Enterprise market, I'd really like to move over to a Linux laptop and I was thinking that now was the time to make the move. Reassigned.
