Description gleppert 2006-09-30 07:33:03 UTC
Impress displays the picture in the imported Powerpoint slide very ugly. It was part of a presentation that has been completely unsusable with Impress. I tested the slide with Impress 2.0.3 under Windows and Linux.

Confirmed on OOo 2.0.3 with Windows 2000. The image is distorted. When saving to .odp, there is a file inside "Object 1" that looks like a Visio file and file "ObjectReplacements/Object 1" that looks like an EMF.

OOo 2.0.4rc2 Linux looks the same as OOo 2.0.3 Windows. I would mark this bug confirmed except I suspect it may be a duplicate with regards to the type of embedded image? Same as issue 37131 or issue 47555 or another?

Set to new and change the target.
Comment 6 christian.guenther 2006-10-04 14:44:45 UTC
I can reproduce the bug. The graphic seems to be from Visio. Please have a look.

Four year old bug, but picture in attached presentation is still very ugly in Impress 3.3Beta1. No change.
