Description lars 2002-08-16 17:51:33 UTC
suggestion: make all objects within a chart appear as subobjects in the chart-
object in Navigator -- like subfolders appear as subfolders to folders in
Windows Explorer.

Currently when entering a chart in Calc, the Navigator is not visible anymore;
it should at least switch to display the charts content.
Comment 1 lars 2002-08-16 17:54:59 UTC
see issue 7047 and issue 6741

general idea: Navigator as "object browser" with additional
functionality

I'm changing components of some issues to ui ui from framework ui; am
I right in doing so? not all: it'd be too much. Also I clarified some
types from Feature to Enhancement

Comment 9 IngridvdM 2007-11-19 12:01:12 UTC
As I understood this feature request all sub objects of a chart should be listed
somehow in one control (e.g. in the Navigator). In addition it should be
possible to manipulate the sub objects starting from this control.
Changed the summary to reflect the request better.

Within CWS chartuseability01 I added a list box to the chart formatting tool bar
that lists all existing chart elements (accept the single points). Selecting an
element in the list box does select the according element in the chart display.
Next to the list box there is a button 'Format Selection' to open the properties
dialog of the selected object.
For further details have a look at the specification:
http://specs.openoffice.org/chart/Toolbars.odt

If more is wanted please submit additional issues. Thanks!
Comment 13 IngridvdM 2009-08-07 14:49:01 UTC
Created issue 104082 to adapt the test scripts and issue 104083 to adapt the
documentation.
Comment 14 IngridvdM 2009-08-27 13:55:03 UTC
Sophie, please verify in CWS chartuseability01 that the chart formatting tool
bar contains a new list box and a new 'Format Selection'-Button as described in
the specification:
http://specs.openoffice.org/chart/Toolbars.odt (especially section 1.2.1. )
Thanks! Ingrid
