drawing object lost when file saved, then reopened. Win98SE none

Description jerrym51 2006-10-25 00:01:55 UTC
Source document is Word6.0 document containing a drawing object. Open the
original document, drawing object is visible on screen. Edit (in any fashion)
the document. Saving under ANY format. Reopening the saved file, the drawing
object is absent.

I can send example, if required.

If this is normal or expected behavior for import of this file type, please let
me know.

Thanks!

The drawing ojects will be lost when using the Word 6, Word 95 and RTF formats
for saving the document, because these objects are not supported in the export
of those filters.
Using the OO1.x, OO2.x and Word 97/2000/XP/2003 format will jeep the objects
properly.

MRU->HBRINKM: should be aded in a future version.
