TestTool test case
ab->tbo: These problems seem to be Testtool related in the first place. If the dialogs behave in a way the Testtool can't handle it has to be evaluated first, what's the problem. I don't know what the testtool ex- pects. And even then the problem probably has to be further evaluated in the toolkit that provides the dialog and controls respectively the properties dialog implementation. So far I don't even know what you are talking about -> gh for first evaluation move to next target moved to 2.4 because of too little time left 3.0 retargeted to 3.x Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
There are currently two problems, that need workarounds, which also don't work reliable; Attached is a TestTool script, which shows messageboxes with the errors; 1. The dialog window doesn't recieve .typeKeys Tools->Macros->Organizen Dialogs-> Edit any dialog or create a new one Issue: executing DialogWindow.typeKeys("<tab>") should select the dialog frame as you would manually type the <tab> key workaround is to use the mouse, but this also fails sometimes; To make the tests reliable, a working typeKeys would solve it 2. ControlPropertiesDialog isn't visible to TestTool; if you go on from 1.) and open the context menu, selecting 'properties' The dialog 'Properties: Dialog' comes up; To check this by TestTool you would execute ControlPropertiesDialog.exists - which fails as if the dialog isn't there; workaround is to check for the tabpages exists. Putting gh on cc, since he might give a hint on what's wrong here.
