reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago) Also for WORKDAY(). Currently this type of computation is rather useless for a lot of people outside Europe/America as often the weekend is different and so this calculation gives erroneous results without the user getting any indication as to what is wrong, as the description in the function manager makes no indication of the saturday+sunday limitation and a user can easily believe that the weekend days are determined by the locale selected (as they should be). At the least a user should be able to disable the builtin weekend days so that the list of weekend days can be supplied using the holidays array. This enhancement is necessary for the ODF1.2 definition of NETWORKDAYS and WORKDAY, which have a forth parameter to indicate, which days are workdays. EXCEL 2010 will have versions with this workday definitions too. So this function should be implemented. Given the fact that in Asia (where I live) billions of people work 6 days a week and the governments are in the process of moving towards openoffice this is not an enhancement but a must for this function to be meaningful at all. I bump this old issue MS-Excel 2010 implement two news functions with NETWORKDAYS.INTL and WORKDAY.INTL. Once again, Lib0 will implement too for the next 4.3 build: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73147 Is it possible to integrate this code nor develop another one? (In reply to oooforum from comment #5) > Is it possible to integrate this code nor develop another one? no, it's not possible. Of course, you are free to contact the author and try to convince him/her (personally, I wouldn't be too optimistic) *** Issue 125702 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** |
