Could the text objects be made to justify as per Writer, where you can choose to
justify the last line of the paragraph as well?

I don't agree. The same dialog is used as in Writer, with the options for
justifying the last line removed. Is the same code not used?

This is closely related to Issue 107470, since they both rely on the same text
layout engine.

Yes, both Calc and Draw (and Impress too) use the same text layout engine.  So
once I add the requested functionality in Calc, it'll be trivial to add it to
Draw as well.  We just need to add the new 'distributed' justification option in
the UI, and take care of the import/export of that option.
