This is first of my usability issues.
Why Insert -> Duplicate slide is disabled when viewing slide with notes?

Set to new and change the target.

In my mind there is no reason why we can't create a new slide in the notes view.
Please have a look.

set target to 3.x according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x

This is duplicate to issue 15658. I have closed the older one, because this
issue has already got status new and target milestone.
