Description marcusmunich 2007-01-06 17:33:52 UTC
Hi,

Example:

Aaa	123	456
Aaa	124	457
Bbb	125	458
Aaa	126	459
Bbb	127	460
Aaa	133	466
Aaa	134	467
	135	468
	136	469
	137	470
	138	471
	139	472

(Example end)

by using the Standard filter in the auto filter drop down menu I have entered
the following condition:

field(Aaa) <> " "

(Tried it with " and without)and it did not work as wished.

Further explenation:
I have tried to filter to only show me the rows containing the Aaa or Bbb in
the corresponding column (means only the non-blanks in this column
[CELL<>" "] ), which unfortunately did not work.
By the way: Excel shows the option to show blanks and non-blanks in the drop
down menu of the auto filter. Would be nice to have this functionality in oo as
well??

Thanks for your help,

Marcus

marcusmunich,
you do not need to type anything in "Value" in "Standard Filter" dialog. Then
you will get non-blanks.

I am resolving your issue as duplicate of
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=35579 and suggest voting for
issues 35579 and 69690.
