White is exported to grayscale EPS as a gray value of 0.996 instead of 1, while
black is exported to color EPS as 0.003 0.003 0.003 instead of 0 0 0. This may
seem like a minor problem, however it thwarts automatic bounding box recognition
in later processing steps.

I experienced this problem on Linux/i386 (Debian), but I suspect that it's
independent of OS/platform.
