ODF presentation that will crash OOo when trying to convert to powerpoint none

Description ooomod 2007-03-12 10:36:50 UTC
Hi,

I have a stable (2.1, X11) build of OOo running on a MacBook Pro.
I have a presentation (in odp) that I wrote but that I need to convert to
powerpoint. After having drafted my presentation, I went to convert it to
powerpoint. The application crashes and does it everytime I repeat the
operation. I don't know if it's reproductible on other Macs though.

NB: I was however able to save the presentation to flash and pdf. Also
conversion from ODF to MS doc seems to work fine.

I have attached my presentation in ODF. As you see it's a presentation that I'm
doing on behalf of OOo, and I need to have it ready by Friday... Could you
please have a look at it asap?

Thank you so much,

Charles.

Hi Charles,

2.1 is IMHO not the good choice. Please use 2.2 rc3 or more recent : this is another world, with a lot of
issues / bugs fixed ..etc, since macosxmapfiles has been integrated.

Let me know if you still have problem with it

I could not reproduce the crash under windows with a recent src680m201.
I send mailed the ppt file to Charles

Hi,

thanks for your support. I downloaded and installed the 2.2 RC3 and was able to
convert the presentation with no problem.

THX.

This issue was very probably fixed with macosxmapfiles integration
