Description zhongqiyao 2007-03-22 02:26:05 UTC
Windows XP Home, Chinese (Traditional characters).
OpenOffice Calc 2.0.1, Chinese (Traditional characters).

1. Open blank document.

2. In cell "A1" type "a1".

3. In cell "A2" type "a2".

4. In cell "A3" type "a" and don't type anything yet.

5. Now cell "A3" is preselected at "a1".

6. COMMENT: However, in a bug spreadsheet
with a lot of cells, it is more probably that you have a lot of "a1"'s
near each other, and a lot of "a2"'s near each other. So it is
more suggestible that the preselected match for cell A3 is
the *nearest* matching content (above the current cell),
namely "a2", instead of the *first*
matching content, namely "a1".

Thanks.

If this is according to the specifications of
ordering the autocomplete items and preselecting the
first item and using tab to scroll through them,
you may close this one as invalid.

Thanks.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)
