Andrea, thanks again for your suggestions. Reassigned to Falko. Why not just using the combo <ctrl>+c, <ctrl>+v? It is too complicate to duplicate objects. Instead of invoking the dialogue (Edit - Duplicate) we should use this entry to just duplicate the exsiting object (assign CTRL+D as hotkey). To access the old dialogue we will add a new menu entry "Edit - Duplicate options..." (CTRL+SHIFT+D hot key) started This feature would seem to be covered by the simple Ctrl-C followed by Ctrl-V key combination. A somewhat related issue is how objects are added to the drawing. If you are adding a number of boxes and connecting arrows it is tiresome to have to keep clicking the icon you want on the Drawing toolbar. There should be a shortcut to reselect the last tool used. To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements". |
