I am having the same problem described here. Running the new OpenOffice version 2.2, using the PostgreSQL driver postgresql-8.2-504.jdbc3.jar. I can open the datasource, and when I click Tables it shows me a list of tables. But when I try to open a particular table, Base appears to hang for about 15 seconds, then crashes. I also set up a different datasource using the sdbc driver, and that one works fine, so the database is working. My platform is Windows XP Home, and the database is installed locally. I see the following in the PostgreSQL log: 2007-04-03 16:49:45 LOG: could not receive data from client: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. 2007-04-03 16:49:45 LOG: unexpected EOF on client connection sounds like a duplicate of issue 75872, which technically is a duplicate of issue 74732. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 75872 *** closing duplicate |
