Example for simple data pilot with formats that will be destroyed when you refresh none

Description titusopen 2007-03-30 21:01:56 UTC
If you make a data pilot and you format the cells (with whatever formatting)
within the data pilot section, each time you refresh the data pilot, the
formatting is reset to the default and hence destroyed.

This is very annoying and simply forbids formatting in the data pilot area. As a
workaround, you can insert another spreadsheet and refer to the cells of the
data pilot area, so your format is not being destroyed. But that makes you
inflexible in case of changes in row or column numbers.

I love Open Office and very much appreciate your dedication!

Hi,

I can confirm the loss of formatting, using refresh from the context menu. I
guess this is no defect, but a missing feature and most probably known.

@fst: I assume this is an easy 'close as duplicate' for you.

Best regards from Beijing
Peter
