That's partly true... Ms Word will also just create a new paragraph in the mentioned table cell - not a new table row. Appending a new row can only be done by pressing "Tab" key when cursor is located in the lower right cell of a table. The requested implementation won't make sense; how should anyone create a paragraph break in a table cell, when "Enter" will add a new row? Closed. You didn't read how to reproduce this, OK, here is even simpler form: 1. Isert table 2x1 cells 2. Move cursor to the right cell 3. Move cursor right once more 4. Hit enter MS Word creates new row, while OOo doesn't understand this procedure. I must say I wasn't aware of tab as a mean to add new row when posted this bug. However, some people got used to this behavior in MS Word, and it is still worth considering Reassigned to requirements. *** Issue 82937 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** |
