Hi,
when importing an Excel sheet that contains a text box with vertical text in it
OO changes the text to horizontal.
Here is the original file created in Excel.

To show what happens this is a pdf file created when opening the file in Excel:

I searched hard but could not see this problem resolved elsewhere. Of course it
is possible to then manually edit the text box so that text is displayed
vertically again but that is not ideal. 
I found this in previous versions but it remains in OOo 2.2.

Confirmed this error in OO 2.2 in Windows XP.

Indeed if you double-click the text box, the text goes back to vertical, but
obviously this is not the ideal.... It should be vertical from the very beginning.

Hi Daniel,

please have a look at this one. Excel 2007 displays the text outside of the
textframe while Excel2k3 shows it inside. Maybe a hint for an broken shape ?
