Jiri, thanks for posting this issue. Please list the steps required to reproduce this issue, or attach all the files which we need to reproduce this issue. Without this information, we usually cannot reproduce issues. Thank you for using and supporting OOo. Created attachment 3443 [details]
This could be a testcase. Please note that it is sufficient to place an object (e.g. a formula) instead if the big letter.
Hi Jiri, I made a quick test with your file and saw some curious reaction, but unfortunately I have not time enough to check all details. Coluld you please give a step by step instruction (Additional Comments From P M 2002-09-14 17:46 PDT) how to reproduce the problems like 1. do this 2. do that 3. mark big "g" with mouse . . . 10. Menu: ... expected ...... actual ..... Rainer SBA->Jiri: Please verify your findings in a newer version of OOo (currently 1.1 RC4 is available) and comment. Thank you. Reassigned to Michael. Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it from www.openoffice.org many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back It maybe not yet solve your Issue, but it worth to try. Closing issue due to inactivity as WFM. Please open a new issue if the problem still exists in the latest release of OOo. Rainer Oops, sorry This was the wrong issue for my comment, so I reopen. Utomo, can you pls. try to reproduce the issue (there _is_ a problem, but a better description is required!) Rainer Problem here is, that the position, which is set by using "vertical below" with "no wrap" does not really exist. "No wrap" tries to displace the whole space of the line (increased by the large letters there), thus it is not possible to place the objectect directly below the character. MRU->OD: Maybe it can be improved a bit, that the object/frame does not move above the line, but is placed below the line in this case. Accepted this object positioning defect. Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
