Procedure :-
1) assign names to a set of cells with a common prefix - eg. :- apr_ys_euro_rate
, apr_ys_mileage , apr_ys_mileage_rate etc. .
2) try to rename the prefixes - eg. apr_ys_ to may_ - facility not available .

As far as I understand this request, it should be possible to rename an existing
named range with the define name dialog (CTRL+F3)

This is bad issue :] Please change status. Change name of cell and range is
already possible.
