Under some circumstances, valid urls are not recognized and converted to active
links.

1. File > New > Spreadsheet
2. Tools > AutoCorrect > Options > URL recognition = ON
3. Tools > Cell Contents > AutoInput = ON
4. In cell A1, type: www.example.com <Enter>
   * The link will be recognized and activated.
5. In cell A2, type: w (completion --> ww.example.com) <Enter>
   * The link is not recognized.
6. In cell A2, hit F2 (into edit mode) <Enter>
   * The link is not recognized.

The link in the last two cases should be recognized on <Enter>

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Can't confirm step 5 "not recognized" with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE-multilingual
version German UI activated [OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]". My OOo recognizes hyperlink

Hmm... I see the same thing. I can't reproduce the problem now, with OOo 2.4.2
or 3.1.1.
