IMHO - Compared to other Mac OSX apps the cursor is too fat (thick) and too close to the text. See the attached screenshots comparing OOo and TextEdit.

ericb->mikesic This is fixed now. Can you confirm ? looks good Type a full line of text in Writer. When you type a space after a word near the beginning of the line the cursor moves and is positioned a space after the word. When you type a space after a word near the end of the line, the cursor does not move, remaining close to the word, as if you had never typed the space. Works fine now: issue fixed closing I am using Openoffice 3.0.0 Beta OSX Acqua version, and I still have the problem msciotte mentioned in August 2007. << Type a full line of text in Writer.
