The process for "Insert->Sheet From File..." could be improved:

It should be possible to import more than one file at a time by selecting more
than one file in the "Insert" file requestor.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Can we see this as a duplicate for issue 13142? It's for all applications, while
this one here only is for Calc.
(The component of issues 13142 is "Wordprocessor", but only because changing the
component to "framework" will kill all the votes; in fact it is treated as a
general problem.)

Not sure. The import dialog is rather different between Calc and other
components as Calc tries to assign data fields to appropriate cells, with
separator selection etc.

Yes, you are right, possibly this needs two different implementations. I will
leave a hint in the other issue though, perhaps it's possible to combine the
work somehow.
