Description Unknown 2002-09-28 09:45:32 UTC
I have Suse 8.0, KDE 3.0.3 and installed QT 3.0.5 (this was necessary for me
in order to print greek).

I installed openoffece 1.0.1 and followed the instructions.

Everything went fine (no errors)

When I try to run Openoffice nothing is displayed on the screen and I just get
the message "aborted".
The same applies when I try to run the program as a root user or as a normal user.
Another thing after installing Openoffice an reboot, when I logged in as root
a message appeared which said welcome to new KDE ver 3 and asked me to save
my settings from kde2.

Thanks
John

You can't use a standard installation for all user. Make an
installation with -net as root and start a workstation installation as
logged in user.

Invalid.
