Description Frank Schönheit 2007-07-16 09:48:12 UTC
- File / New / Database
- in the "Database Wizard", check the "Open an existing database file"
  radio button
- press the (now enabled) "Open" button
- in the "File Open" dialog, browse to an MS Access database (*.mdb or *.accdb)
- press "Open" in the "File Open" dialog
=> both the "File Open" and the "Database Wizard" dialog disappear, but nothing
   happens

When doing the same thing from the OS' application launcher (i.e. by launching
"OpenOffice.org Base" in Window's Start menu), then this looks to the user as if
OOo silently finished. This, at the latest, renders the problem a usability issue.
