If there are Date Fields in Draw or impress document, the find/replace
function can't work correctly.

Can you elaborate your description, please? Or better: Could you provide us with
example documents, so that we can have a look at it?
I have tried it in Draw (inserted a variable date field and after that I
inserted a textbox, where I entered some text.), where it works for me. This is
with OOo 2.3 RC1 under Debian SID (AMD64).

I'm sorry.

I attached a document and a picture to illustrate the issue.

In this draw document, I search the word "DRAW" , but the result is not
correct.

I find it just now, this only occurs in the following text of the date field.

It can't find any match word if I insert a Filename field. I'll upload
attachments soon.

Hello redflagzhulihua, *,
I have downloaded your ODG files (as well as the jpg files. You should change
the file format from "text/plain" to "image/jpeg" or so the next time ... ;) )
and can confirm this issue with the Germanophone OOO320m17 under Debian SID
AMD64 ... :(
Short instruction:
1. Download search.odg as well as search2.odg
2. Open them in OOo
3. Search for "DRAW" (the only word I can read there ... ;) )

In search.odg you get a Chinese (I think) string marked, but not the visibile
Word "DRAW"
In search2.odg you get the message (roughly translated) "Search term not found"
HTH
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for pointing out the problem. I was not very familiar with this tool
in the year 2007, now I've already know about it. :-)

Your steps exactly described the issue, thanks. And to my observation, the
search result seems ignore the room the field occupied.
