Description crusaderv83 2007-08-31 22:53:01 UTC
i have an .odt file wich cannot be opened correctly on two different computers.
the cpu is at 100% after the document was rebuilt (german: wiederhergestellt),
but nothing happens. the main program doesn´t react so you only can close it.
next try will not change anything, same result.
i can send the file via email if needed.

winXP pro and home tested, same reaction. hardware: asus a8jp and targa
visionary xp-210 (both notebook)

Please assign your issues to the correct component and give the subcomponent
even a try!
Changing now.
Comment 3 merschmann 2007-09-05 13:09:08 UTC
Can confirm with OOo-2.3RC1-Win2K.
Comment 4 p9w.vu.31122010 2007-09-10 20:51:22 UTC
Opens fine on OOG680_m2 (official Linux SUN RPMs)
No critical CPU Load.
Comment 5 merschmann 2007-09-10 21:15:15 UTC
Confirmed also with OOo-2.2.0 and 2.3RC2 on WinXP.
Comment 6 maand 2007-09-10 21:55:15 UTC
Additional comment: With 2.3-RC2 (official Sun-Build) on Linux (SuSE 10.2-i586,
KDE 3.5.7, CPU Centrino 1.6, MEM 1 GB) I get critical CPU-Use (up to 90%). This
happens when I scroll down the document. Then only the frame of OOo is visible
(after changing to another window and back).

Confirmed with OO.o 2.3 RC1 on Ubuntu Gutsy and OO.o 2.3 RC2 on WinXP. I have
also another .odt file in Thai which also gives very similar problem.

@sugree: Please open another issue, as the reason for this behaviour are not
investigated yet and may be different.
