Description zhongqiyao 2007-09-14 06:48:55 UTC
Microsoft Windows XP Home SP2, Chinese (Traditional char).
OpenOffice Impress 2.2.1, Chinese (Traditional char).

1. Open "to.ppt" and "from.ppt".

2. In page 1 of "to.ppt", press <Enter> after the end of the last line
to create a new line.

3. From "from.ppt", select the content of the body of text in page 1,
and copy-paste it to the cursor position of page 1 of "to.ppt".

4. Do this similarly for page 2 to "to.ppt" and "from.ppt".

5. The bullet symbols are changed and have been recorded in issue 81356.

6. Now export this file as PPT and load it back. Bullet symbols are changed
still. In some files, the blue pointer becomes a red hollow square.

Thanks.

In version 2.3rc3, the latest Chinese (traditional-character) version,
the situation is much better. It tends to keep the bullet style
of the source file, but not completely.
Microsoft PowerPoint is not even doing this (loses colour sometimes).

I am leaving the bug report here for further discussion.

If anyone knows how to "reapply style from master to slide",
could you also tell me? Right-clicking on the template pane
and do "reapply" does not work.

Thanks.

In 2.3rc3,
the export-import problem still makes the bullet symbols look different.
Thanks.

Set to new and change the target.
Comment 6 christian.guenther 2007-11-12 14:37:03 UTC
I can reproduce the bug ins src680m235.
The bullets are neither hard nor soft after copy paste but completely different.

Could you check if this is a related problem?

1. Open "text-box-from" and select the text box (not text inside
the text box).

2. Copy and paste it to "text-box-to".

3. The font changes from Verdana to Arial.

Thanks.
