Description roca 2007-09-25 03:28:55 UTC
Exported SVG contains CSS properties such as "font-size:635". CSS length values
must include a unit. See this thread if you have W3C member access:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-svg/2006Jan/thread.html#msg38
In this case, "px" would be appropriate.

Without the unit, Firefox/Gecko ignores the property, so this hurts the
interoperability of OpenOffice with Firefox.

2.3.1 will be only for regressions, but I'll ask the release engineering team to
allow this change, since it won't break anything, for sure.

And also helps in interoperability with other programs.

I'm adding this comment to all open issues with Issue Type == PATCH. We have 220 such issues, many of them quite old. I apologize for that.

We need your help in prioritizing which patches should be integrated into our next release, Apache OpenOffice 4.0.

If you have submitted a patch and think it is applicable for AOO 4.0, please respond with a comment to let us know.

On the other hand, if the patch is no longer relevant, please let us know that as well.

If you have any general questions or want to discuss this further, please send a note to our dev mailing list: dev@openoffice.apache.org

Thanks!
