See attached screenshot... Tested it on SUSE, Fedora, and XP. I could not
duplicate the issue with XP.

Can you please attach an OOo CALC sample document?
Any Idea why these lines are in row 26, 28, 30 and not in other ones? Ar they
"anchored" to contents, Line No. or anything else?

Same thing here with 2.3 on SUSE 9.3 10.2 10.3

The weird lines disappears if you uncheck "text overflow" in option/OpenOffice
calc/View.

Thanks for the work around... That seems to do the trick! I have seen this
several times now with different people's spreadsheets. This usually shows up
when they are hiding columns, however I've also replicated it by just shrinking
the column widths up manually. Not sure what is in the rows but you can get more
or less lines to appear depending on what rows are hidden or by playing around
with the column widths.
