try the icon "Last Record" in the toolbar "Form Navigation" Resolve issue, mark it as duplicate of issue 35191 *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 35191 *** close I'm not sure we're ready to close this one. After running the query the window that displays the results doesn't have a "last record" in the toolbar that I can find. Are you thinking of a report? Created attachment 49670 [details]
Perhaps the last-row widget is obscured?
in fact it looks like this, yes ... Seems to be a problem of the theming ... So, the last row icon is buried behind something else because of theming--whatever that is... Does that mean we could change a font somewhere or a 'theming' something-or-other and the last-row widget will appear? Sign me up! I suppose changing your desktop theming/appearance, or only changing your desktop's standard font, could solve this. It would be a workaround only, of course: The control is to use the font (and other appearance-related) settings of your desktop's theme, and it should properly calculate the width of all widgets. From your screenshot, it seems it doesn't. However, without being able to reproduce this, it's hard to fix. Any idea which font to change? Usind KDE Control Center I've changed the general, fixed width, toolbar, meny, window title, taskbar, and desktop fonts to Verdana 8, and the recount count at the bottom of the screen seems unchanged. Never mind. I had to restart OpenOffice. I don't know which one fixed it, but it's smaller now and I can see the record control widgets. Switching from 10-pt to 9-pt fonts fixed the problem. Because the problem was actually cosmetic, I changed the bug's summary. It was the "menu" font. I changed all the fonts back to Sans Serif 10-pts except the "menu" font which I left at 9-pts. |
