Target blank issue
Are we talking about OOo-plugins? Are we talking about OOo itself? The attachment is useless because there are no documents behind it. Please answer the questions and give us a step by step description. Are we talking about OOo-plugins? No (No ActiveX) Are we talking about OOo itself? Document test
Hi Aladdin, Nice picture :-) Tested with out of the box, plain and simple m8 and it worked for me. WinXP SP2, IE 7 I just clicked your hyperlink. Any ideas? WinXP SP2, IE 7 => OK WinXP SP2, IE 6 => KO Any tips ? It is much better because everybody get's all information and everybody will see how you support the community. :-) Shure you can help, I think at this point it is interesting to find out if the problem is a regression or not. So if you are able to check if the problem is the same in the last versions (2.2, 2.3?) it would be a great help. Regards added cc Hi Aladdin, I just tested it with IE6 and fwk75 itself and everything worked fine. Do I understand the problem correct? I click on your link (with the lovely picture) and can see the problem? Office will come up and closes again? - Launch IE and click to the link with target=_blank. - OOo will launch and close the document immediately. The other link work fine. I've tested with I.E 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254 OOo 2.3.1 RC1 (fwk75 included) => KO OOo 2.2.1 (fwk75 not included) => KO The problem appears on http access and file system access (c:\...) Do you confirm ? I confirm the problem with OOo 2.4-dev OOH680_m2. I think this issue is linked to #80862 "OOo closes abruptly when closing Internet Explorer (IE)" [1].
