Description haraldgrundner 2007-11-25 16:21:59 UTC
If I open/import a <MS-Word 6.0 file> only for reading the following
irregularities are present:

- Inhaltsverzeichnis = TOC (Table of Contents) is missing

- Kapitelnummerierung = Numbering of the chapters is missing

- the pictures which are included in the file are missing, it does not care what
  format(BMP, JPF, WMF)

I get the described errors too.

In chapter numbering there are no heading styles assigned to the levels.
Therefore there is no numbering and no TOC.

The pictures URLs are of kind "http://ABB10A.BMP". There seems something wrong
with that pictures, because I cannot see them in (German) Microsoft Word 2007 on
WinXP Home. There I get the error "Der Arbeitsspeicher reicht nicht aus, um die
Grafik anzuzeigen oder zu drucken". (But I have got 1GB RAM.)

I've got a crash with the attached document and sent an error report, but error
number has not arrived yet.

Perhaps this issue have to be split in chapter numbering and error with pictures.

MRU->OD: please have a look, the Outline settings are not imported anymore from
WW6 (though only the default settings are used in the attached doc. This worked
fine in OO 2.1. Also the WW8 version of the doc will import fine.
Comment 5 frank.loehmann 2008-03-31 11:19:46 UTC
According to iTeam (MRU, OD, FL) target changed to 3.x.
Comment 6 jr 2009-10-18 20:49:25 UTC
setting keyword "numbering"
Comment 7 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2014-07-01 15:28:51 UTC
