freezes OOo on import
Can you load the file with PowerPoint? When I try to load the file with Powerpoint I get a message that Powerpoint is not able to load the file. Created attachment 50037 [details]
another version that does not freeze
The first attachment is from Google IMAP and the second from Google webmail. The first fails with error message on PowerPoint 2003 but freezes OpenOffice.org. I suppose Google IMAP eats attachments, but a corrupt document should not be a DoS attack. :) OpenOffice.org should be more like PowerPoint with regards to giving a sensible error dialog and aborting import. In my mind an enhancement. - a broken file should not freeze the office while loading. |
