Description kpalagin 2007-12-11 17:00:19 UTC
Please open attached .ppt, navigate to slide 5 and make sure Russia's map is
visible. Now press F5 for slideshow (scroll to slide 5 if necessary) and see
that slide is shown without Russia's map.
We discovered this problem just before meeting with very important executives
and had to basically remove the slide in order to not look stupid.

Please fix this issue.
Thank you very much.
WBR,
K. Palagin.

I have tried it on WinXP with OOo231 and SRC680m238.

The picture is there. It should fly in from left on click and does so in
PowerPoint. In OOo there is a great delay till the picture flies in. The picture
is in foreground above the arrows then. After an additional click the picture is
set behind the arrows.

If you change the format to odp, delete the animation and set it again, then the
picture flies in directly after clicking and to the right position behind the
arrows, but it is slow and jerks much while flying in.

I can't reproduce the bug.
The presentation has the same behaviour as in PPT (testet with ppt2003).
If you have a different behaviour then in ppt please tell me which ppt do you use.

Christian,
custom animation for picture of Russia is set to "on click" "very fast" "fly
in".

The biggest problem is that it takes two clicks, not one, for pic to appear.
(When I filed this issue I was not making second click, thus pic did not
appear at all). PPT2003 needs one click to display picture.

Second problem is that when picture appears it just pops out of nowhere, not
flies-in, as in PPT2003.

I mean, one additional click is not a problem, but if you do not expect the
need to make that click, it can spoil the show.

Regards,
Kirill.

When I load the bugdoc all custom animation settings are the same like in PPT
but when I start the presentation and click to start the animation I have to
move the mouse to see the graphic. when I move the mouse the graphic appears but
don't fly in. When I click a second time the graphic 'blinks' and get behind the
arrows. this behaviour is completely wrong.
when I delete the custom animation and assign the animation again everything
works correct.
According to cl this is your area.

If I play the presentation with OpenOffice I do only have one click for the
picture to appear its the same behavior as it is if played within PowerPoint.

Maybe its a problem with the canvas that is used, but I only can check this with
the vcl canvas.

sj->af: Can you please test if this is problem with the directx canvas.
