Description raphael_mankin 2008-01-27 16:14:13 UTC
My C; drive is short of space. It has only 60Mb free. I therefore tried to
install on the F: drive which has 414Mb free.

In the componenet selection screen I selected the componenets to isntall and
clicked 'chagne' to select a directory on F:. The display told me that I needed
10Mb on C:. When the installation started it failed because it said that I
needed 153Mb on C: and only 29Mb were available.

I clicked 'cancel' and confirmed the cancellation of the installation, but the
system then continued and installed the software, apparently on F:.

Once installed, I could not actually run anything as various DLLs and routines
appear to be missing. Not really surprising as my installation is ancient. I was
only testing the installation for a friend who could not get it to install at all.

Please give a hint what OOo you are using and where downloaded from. Is it
really Windows NT that you are using? So you should forget about this. NT is no
longer supported by OOo 2.x.
