See the attached image. Initially edges of this box are (usually) not garbled,
but when playing a bit with window (open-close docked navigator, stretch it when
opened) egdes change..

I am trying to replicate your error.  Which toolbars are you docking/undocking?
 I can't seem to get it to happen.  Does the window have to maximized?  The
picture helps, it seems to indicate that the control is being repainted properly.

After upgrading nvidia drivers I cannot replicate it myself. Earlier it happened
when I changed size of docked navigator/stylist panes (by dragging separator
bar),  window size didnt matter. When I hided or covered OO.o window, problem
was gone after bring window to foreground again.
