Description manu007 2008-02-08 14:28:11 UTC
In "Base", I made a query using the SQL function MONTHNAME(Date).

The result is correct for an english user of openoffice (January, ..., December)
but not for a french user.

In french, we should have: janvier, février, mars, avril, mai, juin, juillet,
août, septembre, octobre, novembre, décembre.

I guess, but I can't test it, that the same problem exists with the other
localised version of open office (german, ...)

to localize the sql language is an ambitious project, but a valid improvement
Comment 2 christoph.lukasiak 2008-05-06 13:04:00 UTC
send further to the requirements team

October; November; December

French: Janvier; Février; Mars; Avril; Mai; Juin; Juillet; Août; Septembre;
Octobre; Novembre; Décembre

German: Januar; Februar; März; April; Mai; Juni; Juli; August; September;
Oktober; November; Dezember

everything is fine

.. the requirements team is the proper place for acknowledged (by qa)
enhancements -> they will work it out further and decide if, when and how your
idea will be handled (the pre check by the qa is passed)
