Description eberlein 2008-02-26 13:20:19 UTC
In Java you can import XMailServiceProvider, XMailMessage and all the other stuff, but XMailServer has no resources, only a documentation. http://api.openoffice.org/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/mail/XMailServer.html

@ eberlein: Can please retry with a more recent OOo version? The last stable version is 2.3.1. If you would try with the release candidate of OOo 2.4 would be great.

Checked it with 2.3.1 (WinXP), XMailserver.class is missing again ($install\program\classes\unoil.jar).

the bug is not that this interface is not part of unoidl, the bug is that it is documented. Only the IDL exists it is not integrated in the makefiule and no implementation exists. I don't know the current state of this type but it won't make sense to include it in unoidl so far. JSC -> OS: can you comment it

XMailServer is dead. XSmptService/XMailService are in use.
