I can add the language to the language listbox, which makes it available for character attribution and spell-checking. To have it as a locale and selectable as default document language we would need a locale data file. For details please see the locale data DTD http://l10n.openoffice.org/source/browse/l10n/i18npool/source/localedata/data/locale.dtd?view=markup and as a sample locale data file for example the en_US locale http://l10n.openoffice.org/source/browse/l10n/i18npool/source/localedata/data/en_US.xml?view=markup You can easily generate a locale data file for your locale with the generator available at http://www.it46.se/localegen/ Please read the comments in the DTD file mentioned above for details. Thanks Eike

Actually Albanian is already available in the language list box and for spell-checking, so this issue would be only for locale data to be added, see previous comment. Please provide a valid locale data file.

An Albanian locale file could be found <a href="http://dl.free.fr/qsVZucVbz"> here</a .

Thank you for your contribution. Please note that to integrate code or data contributed we need a signed Contributor Agreement form (SCA) filled-out, see http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Sun_Contributor_Agreement To be able to lookup your name in the list of approved assignments I'd appreciate if you stated your full name here in this issue. In the attached locale data file the number formats for currency use a parenthesized form for negative amounts ([CURRENCY]#,##0.00) that usually is only correct for locales based on an en-US locale, which probably is an oversight here. Please check and correct if appropriate. Thanks Eike
