I'm trying to hyperlink some text in Writer. I select the text, press the
Hyperlink button to display the dialogue. I then go to Firefox and select the
URL I want, copy to the clipboard with CTRL-C. I return to the Hyperlink
dialogue, position the cursor in the URL field and attempt to paste with CTRL-V.
The URL is pasted into the document at the insertion point instead of into the
hyperlink dialogue. I can successfully type characters into the dialogue, but
there's no way to paste from the clipboard.

Not a problem of the hyperlink dialog in Writer - it is  a general problem in
OOo with its dialogs.
It is not possible to paste any text content into any OOo dialog text control.

OK< thanks. It's especially a problem in this case as the Browser button on the
dialogue tells you to do it...

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
