- Select and copy one cell.
- Try to paste into multiple cells, you'll get an error message.

Desired behaviour : allow to paste (string, date or formula) into multiple cells.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

I am adding my desire to have this fixed - OOo 3 build 9358 Macintel.

You can't paste into multiple cells.

You also can't select multiple cells and copy them.
