Description zhum 2008-04-30 11:22:24 UTC
OpenOffice support for "changes" is very ugly now:
  - I cannot find next/previous change. Only visually. If document contains 10
or more pages it is VERY bad...
  - If one phrase was edited two or more times it is not possible to understand
what actually was made.
  - I cannot merge only the cannge under cursor.
  - Comments must be shown not only by tooltips - it is not possible to see what
they are commenting actually.

Changes is VERY usefull feature for team work and is very needed. Please, make
it more powerfull and usable.

I would just like to say that I agree that it is not nearly as usable as in
Word. The comments issue has been improved since the last post yes, but I deal a
lot with documents with a lot of changes, and find it a real pain trying to use
the 'Accept/Reject' window to accept or reject changes. From memory, Word has
these options available in a toolbar, and also on right-click on a change.
Please can we move towards that and make OOo even more usable.
