Description pmike 2008-05-05 08:08:39 UTC
Load sample file any type letter 'O' in cell D273.
Autoinput will suggest word "On" from D69, but ignores "Off" from D68.

Then have a look at column E, where backward numbering shows that only last 200
items are considered by autoinput.

Help says:
"Switches the AutoInput function on and off, which automatically completes
entries, based on other entries in the same column. The column is scanned up
to a maximum of 2000 cells or 200 different strings."

Calc behaves exactly by description, but sometimes this is just not enough.
Please make the number of cells and distinct strings configuable (via
calc.xcu, if not via GUI).

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)
